People get lost
in the virtual worlds
in sea of thrown words....
Interactive music video for Kafka Band. A parable about the labyrinth of social networks, the sea of words, images, getting lost and finding yourself in this New World.
Just as imigrants once groped for AMERICA, the name that this song's album currently bears. The inhabitants of the new world dazed and fascinated by the abysmal verticals of high-rise buildings, the claustrophobic sensations of flowing hordes of countless people. We tell a similar story in this unconventional clip in virtual reality.
On the project I worked closely with creative director Petr Hanousek, skilled 3D motion designer Petr Kollarčík (aka PetrKoll) and talented visual artist and real-time developer Kryštof Šuk (Tof). The main hero reflecting the gallery of diverse emotions of the human face was the group member himself - Jaromír Švejdík ( Jaromír 99 ).
It was a very interesting and inspiring project for me, and I still regret that I did not attend (I was too busy at the time) the concert with my colleagues where its visuals were used.
On the project, in addition to art direction and 3D design, I worked together with the skilled videographer Honza Čermák to produce a short teaser video introducing this allegorical audiovisual experience.
You can watch it above.
