Virtual ride
Ai truck EWA
across the Spain...

The somewhat "sci-fi" vision of a virtual truck ride for EUROWAG, a provider of logistics and transport services. The physical installation using human hand sensing (leap motion) became part of the showroom at the company's headquarters in Prague.

STORY / VIRTUAL RIDE

Become for a moment the driver of a futuristic truck. Sci-fi visions of modern interiors surround you and the car itself will take over the automatic truck control. You can enjoy an uninterrupted driving experience through the picturesque landscape. The realization of the project is divided into two parts - the film production and the second is the creation of the virtual environment and interior design. The first part of the project production was the physical footage shot with a 360° film camera in Spain. I worked with the team on the second part of the production, namely the visualization of the digital environment and futuristic design and the implementation of 3D in the Unity engine.

DESIGN / MULTIMEDIA TRUCK

I paid more attention to the design of the interior and functional environment of the truck. In the concepts I tried to combine elements of familiar existing vehicle designs, futuristic holographic control panels and think about functional details such as where the driver can sleep. There are also small funny elements like the food replicator that creates an unlimited supply of burgers. :) In collaboration with our colleagues Michal Marek and Jakub Vaj, who have been developing and implementing 3D models, we created a futuristic interior design of the truck environment with integrated artificial intelligence. Colleagues Ondřej Pultera and Kryštof Šuk then connected everything in the Unity engine into one functional unit and added additional mini-games.

STORY / EWA VIRTUAL ASISTENT

The imaginary heart and brain of the virtual futuristic cargo truck is the voice of artificial intelligence, which we have named EWA (inspired by the name Eurowag). She is your guide and mentor, and also makes sure your journey is fun and enjoyable.
In collaboration with director Petr Hanousek and sound designer Martin Tvrdý (Bonus) we brought her to life, gave her character and visualized her.
The final installation was realized in the first phase in a custom-made polygonal futuristic skeleton. Later, the company decided to place the entire installation in the actual interior of the truck. The physical installation became part of the showroom at the company's headquarters in Prague
