Heroes
of all film genres
say "sorting makes sense"

"One Brave" (WESTERN), "Clean Neighbourhood" (NOIR) are the titles of two short feature films from the "Alone" series, which popularised waste sorting in an unusual way.

PROJECT

The message of several genre shorts is to draw attention to the need to sort waste in an unconventional way. The client of the project was EKO-KOM, a company dealing with the system of collection and recycling of packaging waste.

WESTERN - MATTE PAINTING

The wind whistling down the wide street of a quiet town somewhere in the American Midwest is disturbed only by the creaking of the shutters. As a storm rages in the background and the clouds darken over the cemetery church, a dramatic scene is about to unfold when the protagonist is confronted by villains who disturb the peace of the town and have no sense of decorum. Will our hero restore order?

NOIR - CHICAGO

A private detective confronted with a case that looks very convoluted. He does not want to disappoint the expectations of a distinged lady, his client, who has sent him to the streets of Chicago. In the manner of the old films, we follow a rear projection as he searches the darkened streets in his car. We pass lavish designs of American cars celebrating unrestrained affluence. Neon lights draw lines of lights in the distance and a darkened answer to the question, who is really the murder?
